A supplier does not need to choose, install or configure a separate crypto wallet to receive a RICE Pay payment. Its preparation is limited to confirming an official business email, completing KYB with RICE Pay’s fiat conversion partner that provides on- and off-ramp services, and confirming that it can access the resulting account.
After KYB approval, RICE Pay uses Particle Network infrastructure to prepare a predetermined ERC-4337 smart-account address linked to the verified business email. The supplier does not create a seed phrase, connect a personal wallet or type a blockchain address.
RICE Pay and its partners handle the payment route, address checks and transaction record. The supplier later signs in with the confirmed email to see the received USDC.
1. Confirm an official business email
The importer asks an authorized supplier contact to confirm the business email that will be used for RICE Pay access. That email becomes the reference for onboarding and for linking the supplier to its receiving account.
The email is not a blockchain address, and knowing it does not give anyone authority over the account. If the supplier changes the email later, the importer should confirm the request through an established company channel before updating the record.

2. Complete KYB with the fiat conversion partner
The supplier completes KYB with RICE Pay’s fiat conversion partner, which also provides the on- and off-ramp services. RICE Pay does not perform or approve KYB itself. The partner may request ordinary business-verification information such as the legal company name, registration details and authorized representative information.
After the partner returns an approved status, RICE Pay can prepare the supplier’s smart-account address. The supplier does not need to understand ERC-4337 or create the address manually.

3. Sign in and confirm account access
Once approved, the supplier signs in using the confirmed email and checks that the associated smart account is accessible. It does not need to install a browser wallet, prepare a seed phrase or send a wallet address to the importer.
Before the importer signs the payment, the receiving address is checked against applicable sanctions information and screened for onchain risk. RICE Pay and its partners handle these checks; they are not additional work for the supplier. When the agreed native USDC reaches the verified smart-account address on Base, the supplier can see the balance and payment record.

What the supplier does—and what RICE Pay handles
The supplier confirms its email, completes the partner’s KYB and verifies account access. RICE Pay and its partners prepare the smart-account address, check the payment route and record the customer-authorized USDC transfer.
- The supplier does not prepare a separate crypto wallet
- The supplier does not enter a token contract or Base address

- Any later decision to hold, reuse or convert the received USDC is separate from receiving the payment

The importer can therefore prepare the supplier before the invoice due date without waiting for a separate wallet setup.
